From the “first” lesson to preparation for music careers, Hilarie’s passionate lessons provide a solid understanding of the fundamentals of horn playing.
Hilarie emphasizes commitment to correct breathing, flexible embouchures, practice techniques, phrasing, and musicality. She also provides a clear overview of the horn repertoire: etudes, orchestral excerpts, solo and chamber literature. There is also opportunity for performance through recitals.
